THE COTTAGES HAVE :-
Modern well equipped kitchens with electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine, blender stick, food scales etc. Plus ample cooking pots & utensils, crockery, tableware and cutlery, make dining in a pleasure.
The kitchen in Le Four is open plan to the dining room /lounge area – lovely for ‘the chef’ when preparing a meal, to be still part of the family hustle & bustle. The remaining 3 cottages all have separate kitchens.
The lounges have comfy leather/fabric sofas, large flat screen TVs, DVD players & HiFi systems. The feature granite fireplaces all have wood burning stoves, which can be lit all year round to add to the cosy ambiance of these delightful cottages.
The open plan dining rooms have solid wood tables & chairs and there is a host of tableware and crockery, plus mats etc. provided.
Upstairs the cottages have 3 light & airy bedrooms, 1 king-sized/double and 2 twins (with 2 single beds).
Le Four, which only sleeps 5 has 1 king-sized, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom (although an extra bed is available if required (a fold-away guest bed).
Professionally laundered bedlinen & towels are provided – however please remember to bring your own beach towels!
The family bathrooms are modern, clean and tidy, with a bath, bath/shower, basin and toilet.
Le Puits is the only cottage which doesn’t have a bath, but this has a very large ‘hydrotherapy’ shower.
All the cottages also have downstairs cloakrooms with WC and hand basins.
Stair gates and infant equipment (e.g. cot & highchair) is available on request.
We kindly ask that guests do not smoke inside the cottages – thank you.
Outside, the cottages have their own private terraces overlooking the gardens. Each has its own BBQ and patio table & chairs. All provide the perfect spots for 'Alfresco' dining & star gazing!
Parents can rest assured that their children & teenagers will be kept well occupied with all the entertained and facilities provided in the hamlet.
The heated swimming pool is secure and has a ‘child proof’ locked entrance gate. The play area offers a wide selection of outdoor games including table tennis, trampoline, boules pitch, climbing frame, swings & slide, sand pit etc. Plus there is an indoor board games area and ‘Den’ for teenagers and older children to enjoy, with a large cinema screen for watching movies.
The hamlet is also ideally located to offer easy access to a host of family attractions and places of interest to visit (both on the doorstep & further afield). Plus, only half an hour drive to the nearest recommended family beaches.
Horse riding, pony trekking, canoeing, kayaking, golf, tennis, water sports, country walks and cycle tracks are also available near to the hamlet.
